The G-Max 13 beside-the-press granulator.

G-Max Wittmann’s line of beside-the-press granulators provide material throughputs of up to 110 pounds per hour and are designed for closed-loop recycling of sprues and runners from injection molding machines.

What’s new? The G-Max 13, the fourth model and second-smallest granulator in the product line. It features a cutting chamber measuring 9.7 inches by 11.2 inches, a 13-liter regrind bin and an open rotor with three knives. Its motor output is 3 kilowatts, and its belt drive has an automatic tensioning system. With throughputs up to 77 pounds per hour, the granulator can process soft to medium-hard sprues and runners made of PP, PE, ABS and PU. Its screens are available with perforations measuring either 4mm or 5mm in diameter.

Benefits Efficiency. The machine is compact, energy efficient and features a material hopper that can be tilted for simple cleaning and maintenance. Tools are not needed to perform screen changes, and changing knives is easy.
