Engel makes list of most sustainable companies

Engel has been named to a list of the 50 most sustainable and climate-aware companies in the world.  The Austrian company is the only plastics machinery manufacturer to make the list, which was created by TBD Media Group and is available on Bloomberg Media’s digital properties.

Engel was lauded for its efforts to advance the circular economy. In a press release, the company said “Sustainability is firmly anchored in Engel’s corporate philosophy. … Advancing digitalisation opens up great opportunities for establishing a circular economy, which Engel is leveraging with extensive development investments.”

And in a video on the TBD Media website, Stefan Engleder, CEO of the Engel Group, said, “As part of the plastics industry, we have a responsibility to ensure that people in all regions of the world are using plastic products responsibly.”
