PMM taps Lynne Sherwin as managing editor

Lynne Sherwin has joined Plastics Machinery Magazine as managing editor.

She has more than 30 years of journalism experience as an editor and writer at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, The Detroit News and Wausau (Wis.) Daily Herald. She has won awards from the Press Club of Cleveland and Ohio Society of Professional Journalists, and was a “Jeopardy!” champion in 2006.

“We are fortunate to have a veteran journalist with Lynne’s management experience to lead PMM’s growth,” said editor Ron Shinn. “She also has extensive experience with online editorial content that will be important for the magazine in the future.”

She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and lives in Akron, Ohio, with her husband, Marc Bona.
