Beckhoff Automation has named Kevin Barker president. Barker will manage the company’s U.S. business operations, overseeing sales, engineering, marketing and administrative operations.

His business experience includes an eight-year stint with Yaskawa, where he led multinational sales teams, as well as director-level positions with Mitsubishi Electric Automation and Omron Electronic Components. Savage, Minn.-based Beckhoff Automation is a supplier of automation technologies.
