Electro-Lift Midwestern Industries’ lift system can be mounted independently to the frame of a variety of round material separators made by the company, as well as its competitors; such separators could be used by either plastics processors or recyclers. It uses 120 volts of power and can be plugged into any outlet.

What’s new? The lift system, which hit the market late last year.

Benefits Faster, safer screen changes, and easier access for maintenance. The lift system’s ergonomic design allows one person, rather than two, to perform screen changes; it also eliminates the need to lock out the equipment for screen changes. Also, unlike hydraulic or pneumatic systems, because the system is gear-driven, it does not allow the frames to slip or fall, even during power outages. Unlike other lift systems, the Electro-Lift requires no compressed air, cumbersome hoses or grease.
