FF series Bunting Magnetics' FF series of drawer magnets can be used with injection molding machines or extruders to remove ferrous contaminants from the resin before processing. The magnets are installed above the opening of the processing machine. Resin passes through the drawers to remove metal, for a higher-quality end product; this also protects the machine from damage that can be caused by tramp metal.

What's new? A high-temperature version, the FF350, that is making its debut at NPE2018. The FF350 features an upgraded magnet that can withstand high temperatures yet maintain its holding strength over time. Able to perform at temperatures up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, the new model is useful in applications where the resin needs to be dried and/or preheated to high temperatures. In addition to the new magnet, the FF350 has other components designed to resist higher temperatures than previous versions, including knobs for latching the drawer and the viewing window, which is made of PC.

Benefits Reliable operation in high temperatures. Additionally, because the housing is the same as the standard FF series drawer magnets, users can economically upgrade their existing units to the new version by purchasing and installing the high-temperature components.
