FCS (Fu Chun Machinery Manufacture Ltd., Tainan, Taiwan) has redesigned its FA line of servo-hydraulic injection molding machines.

FA FCS (Fu Chun Machinery Manufacture Ltd., Tainan, Taiwan) has redesigned its FA line of servo-hydraulic injection molding machines (IMMs). The presses feature fast cycle times and come in 18 sizes with clamping forces ranging from 35 to 1,565 tons.

What's new? Generation II, which is making its debut at NPE2018. The machines' toggle system now supports more precise clamping pressure across the platen. FCS also has added a user-friendly, touch-screen Keba i2880 controller. Maruka, the U.S. distributor for FCS, will exhibit a 160-ton FA-160SV molding 10-inch-long sporks.

Benefits Power savings, flexibility and repeatability. Presses in the line use 70 percent less energy than conventional hydraulic IMMs and respond twice as fast. They provide greater flexibility for running large-capacity molds and have increased injection pressures for high-pressure molding applications.
