MTTF-C 30 This C-frame vertical injection molding machine from Maplan is suited for making corner moldings, seals and small molded parts from thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). The machine has 33 tons of clamping force and a fully hydraulic clamping unit, and features an injection unit that can be pivoted to the side, which enables easy replacement of the screw.

What's new? The ability to process TPEs. The company introduced the MTTF-C 30 at the K show; previously, machines in the MTTF-C line were appropriate only for rubber. Also, Maplan plans to launch a 55-ton model of the TPE version by the end of the year.

Benefits Compact, ergonomic design and reduced energy use due to flow optimization of the hydraulic system. Also, the rigid C-frame allows for a high degree of plate parallelism, reducing tooling wear.
