These injection molding machines are suitable for industrial production, prototyping, clean-room and laboratory applications.

XXS The smallest model of Boy's injection molding machine range, the 6.93-ton XXS, is suitable for industrial production, prototyping, clean-room and laboratory applications. With dimensions of about 3.9 feet wide, 2.6 feet deep and 2.3 feet high, the machine, which weighs about 750 pounds, can be positioned on an optional moveable frame base. Two plasticizing units are available; covering diameters of 8, 12, 14, 16 and 18mm, they can produce volumes of 0.06 to 10.2 cubic centimeters.

What's new? The unit, which Boy introduced at the K show. The machine will be available in the United States by spring.

Benefits Flexibility for performing micro and sprueless single-cavity injection molding. The mounting plates are specially optimized for microforms for many manufacturers of standard mold units. For better processing, the plasticizing unit works according to a first-in, first-out principle, in which the first material to go into the plasticizing unit is also the first to come out. This facilitates short dwell times and gentle material processing. In addition, the machine is easy to maintain, thanks to its diagonal, two-tie bar design, which allows accessibility to the plasticizing unit, mold area and ejector.
