Haitian offers biggest Venus II
VE IIp 4500 Haitian has launched a larger packaging version of its all-electric Venus II series injection molding machine, which is aimed at applications such as bottle caps or cosmetic containers when a cycle time of greater than 4 seconds is acceptable. All machines in the series feature a clamping unit modified for shorter cycles, a ball screw inside the injection unit with a more aggressive pitch for higher injection velocity, and a base beefed up to accommodate heavy multicavity molds.
What's new? Increased clamping force. With the addition of the VE IIp 4500, the series now ranges from 170 tons up to 500 tons.
Benefits Precision molding for packaging and in-mold-labeling applications at a lower price. The Venus IIp 4500 costs less than presses that do the same job, and offers much faster cycle times. Also, the square-shaped platen design provides more space and the ball screw in the injection unit prevents overheating during fast cycling.
