Weekly Timer KraussMaffei's new function for its MC6 injection molding control system is able to accurately determine the amount of time necessary for preheating, which allows machine operators to precisely set the start of production. Weekly Timer is integrated by default into the MC6 control, which is used for all of the company's injection molding machines. The new feature also adapts to changing ambient temperatures or the installation of new plasticizing units.

What's new? Integration of the function into the MC6 control system.

Benefits Significant reduction of energy costs and improved efficiency. Being able to preheat the machine for the precise amount of time necessary saves energy and prevents machine waiting. Also, the new function eliminates the need for inconvenient programming and any calculations on the part of the machine operator.
