Niigata builds next generation of MD all-electrics

Jan. 14, 2015

MD110-S7000 This 110-ton all-electric injection molding machine is the first available next-generation unit following Niigata's MD S6000 series, featuring tonnage sizes from 55-150 tons, programmable inputs/outputs, SPI robot interface and PC remote monitoring.

What's New? A collective screen makes setup and navigation faster, including die height adjustments. The press is equipped with balance pressure filling, two selections for nozzle touch force, maintenance alert functions and power consumption monitoring.

Benefits The compact, low-body all-electric offers energy savings with the standard features of the previous generation but with stronger navigation, enhanced controls and easy maintenance. With the nozzle touch feature, fixed platen tilt can be prevented by 30 percent. With no tie-bar bushing on the bottom side requiring lubrication, molding and the parts drop area are cleaner.
