    Nominations open for Carteaux Award

    The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) will present the honor to a professional who has worked for the betterment of the industry.

    There is still time to nominate someone for the inaugural William R. Carteaux Leadership Award.

    The new award honors an industry professional who has achieved distinction working for the betterment of the plastics industry. It is sponsored by the Plastics Industry Association. Carteaux was president and CEO of PLASTICS from 2005 until his death from acute myeloid leukemia in 2018.

    Any employee of a PLASTICS member company is eligible for the award. Deadline for submission is June 30 and the award will be presented Oct. 7 at the Plastics Hall of Fame dinner in St. Petersburg, Fla.

    Nominations should include basic information about the nominee and a brief description of his or her merits. Supporting letters can be included. Send nominations to [email protected].
