G5 Equipped with a servo jaw assembly and servo film feed, BMG’s newest automated wrapping system uses the company’s patented low-temperature sealing system to prepare trimmed or trimless seal assemblies for PE, polyolefin, and bubble and poly mailing film at a rate of over 60 cycles per minute, in some cases. The G5 is customizable to be constructed and delivered to meet particular users’ needs, but servo-actuation allows the units’ opening to be configurable even after assembly. Servo-film feed is standard, and the systems come fully guarded with a standard dust cover and have a large-capacity powered film unwind cradle. A scrap wind system is available. The G5 is available in a variety of configurations to make horizontal seals from 20 inches to 52 inches and vertical seals from 14 inches to 28 inches, and it has an adjustable seal assembly opening of 2 inches to 12.5 inches.

What’s new? The G5. Making its debut at PackExpo 2025, it is the fifth generation of the BMG wrapper that has been available for many years. For easier setup and operation, it features simplified controls.

Benefits Fast cycle rates, efficiency, precision and reliability. The G5 is designed for quick film roll changes, reduced downtime and ease of use. Its fixed-length crank-arm assemblies prevent incorrect jaw adjustment and eliminate the need for adjustment points, and the film drive system is consistent and durable.
