LayDown VariMaster This Cannon Viking technology for continuous slabstock foam block production allows real-time adjustments to foam grades without interrupting production. It’s specifically designed for specialty foam grades and formulations such as methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), viscoelastic and high-resilience foams. 

What’s new? The LayDown VariMaster, which Cannon Viking announced at the K show. The technology will be available globally from early next year to all continuous slabstock plants, both new and old ones, and can even be adapted to non-Cannon Viking machines. 

Benefits On-the-fly adjustments, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted foam production run; ease of maintenance and long machine life; and flexibility for working with a wide range of foam grades. The LayDown VariMaster produces even PU distribution, good-quality block shapes and foam cell structures, and it minimizes undesired foam density variation.
