Insulated tools protect workers from shocks

1000 V Fluke’s line of electrically insulated hand tools are targeted at facility maintenance technicians and electricians and are rated at 1,000 volts. The line consists of 11 tools — including an assortment of pliers, cutters and screwdrivers — that are made from steel and multilayer insulation. The tools come with a lifetime warranty and are available individually, in tool kits or bundled with other Fluke products, such as electrical testers and multimeters.

What’s new? The product line, which hit the market a couple months ago.
