PTi names Ryan Leopold VP of operations

Ryan Leopold has been promoted to VP of operations for PTi.

Processing Technologies International (PTi) has promoted Ryan Leopold to VP of operations, assuming responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, aftermarket, sales and marketing.  

He replaces Jon Roberts, co-founder of PTi, who served as executive VP of operations for 38 years and will transition as a board member into a technical advisement and mentoring role.  

Leopold joined PTi in 2006 as a mechanical project engineer and progressed through engineering and leadership roles including senior project engineer, supervisor, manager and director of mechanical engineering design protocol. He most recently served as VP of manufacturing. 

His contributions to PTi’s product and technology portfolio include design work on the original MultiNIP roll stand, TSE MultiRESN and HVTSE twin-screw projects. He served in key leadership roles for the development of the Genesis Program, creating standardized designs and co-authoring numerous patents.  

PTi, based in Aurora, Ill., manufactures high-performance extrusion machinery for markets including packaging, construction, automotive, lawn and garden, office products, signage and displays, and appliances.
