Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corp., the North American division of the German machinery manufacturer, announced the appointments of Kasie Fairbarn to VP of sales and Vladimir Utovac to VP of service for the company’s operations in the United States and Canada.
Fairbarn joined W&H in 2021 as product sales manager for extrusion, where she quickly earned the respect of colleagues and customers. Prior to joining W&H, she worked as global account and sustainability manager at Paxxus and as a senior packaging engineer at Unilever. In her new role, she will oversee all sales functions for the film extrusion and printing businesses.
Utovac started his career with W&H in 2010 as a service manager responsible for the installation of printing presses in North America, and in 2018 he became sales product manager for printing. In his new role, which brings him back to the same department he started in, he will be responsible for the North American service operation, including the Information & Diagnostic Center (IDC), regional service management, the large local spare parts operation and all U.S.-based service technicians. In addition, Utovac will oversee sales for W&H’s converting business.
