US Extruders Inc. has appointed Steve Maxson its new innovation and business development manager. Maxson has more than 20 years of experience in medical extrusion, catheter manufacturing and sales and marketing. Most recently, he was VP of sales and marketing for Custom Profile, which develops and manufactures specialty thermoplastic profile extrusions and sub-assemblies. Prior to that, he was the VP of sales of a multi-site global division within Spectrum Plastics Group.
In his new role, his responsibilities will include implementing sales, marketing and product development programs.

Based in Westerly, R.I., US Extruders manufactures custom single-screw extruders, extrusion systems and screws.
