Coperion makes management shifts
Coperion Group has named Ulrich Bartel president. He succeeds Kimberly Ryan, who was named executive VP of Coperion’s parent company, Hillenbrand Inc.
Bartel joined Coperion in 1990 and has held a variety of leadership positions with Coperion companies over the years, including in China, Japan, Singapore and the U.S. He has served as the president of the polymer division since 2014.
On June 2, the same day that Ryan and Bartel were promoted, Markus Parzer was named to succeed Bartel as president of the polymer division. Parzer joined Coperion in 1992. Over the years he has served in various leadership roles at the company’s Stuttgart, Germany, extruder production plant, before being named head of the extrusion systems business unit in 2014 and head of the polyolefins business unit in 2020.
With headquarters in Stuttgart, Coperion manufactures compounding and extrusion systems, feeding and weighing technologies and material handling systems.
