ACT-26 This coil winder from ReelPower automatically cuts and transfers rolls of wire, cable, medical tubing and plastic profiles. It operates at speeds of up to 1,500 feet per minute and features a servo-driven indexing turret and material guide arm. A guard protecting the operator from the “run” side of the winder is standard; full guarding with failsafe interlocks is optional. Also available is an optional safety scanner that has 48 programmable zones; upon sensing a particular condition, it can sound an alarm, flash a light or shut down the machine. Automated stretch wrapping or strapping of coils is optional.

What’s new? The ACT-26 coil winder and its ability to wind up multiple reels per shaft.

Benefits Automation and precision. The winder uses a dancer loop for precise speed and tension control. Additionally, with no belts, gears or pulleys, the ACT-26 is quiet and low maintenance.
