Biaxially oriented PET (BOPET) lines Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH, Siegsdorf, Germany, has expanded the width of its lines for producing BOPET packaging film.
What's new? The ability to make wider film. Brückner, which is represented in the U.S. by Brückner Group USA, has begun marketing BOPET lines measuring 34.1 feet wide. Its previous top size was 28.5 feet.
Benefits Even greater productivity, with line speeds of about 1,690 feet a minute. Because the line is wider, it's able to produce film more efficiently than small lines.
