Davis-Standard debuts blown film line

Davis-Standard is offering its newest blown film line with multiple extruder packages. The film line can operate at speeds of up to 591 feet per minute.

DsX flex-film Davis-Standard is offering its newest blown film line with multiple extruder packages. Applications include bag-making shrink film, roll stock, surface-print films and films for laminating and converting. Available in three sizes — 1,900mm, 2,200mm and 2,500mm — it produces films with thicknesses of 20 to 180 microns. Options include the UpJet air ring for increased output, upgraded surface winders and screws with more wear resistance. Most units feature Davis-Standard's compact Vertex die, which supports streamlined polymer flow, low residence time, fast flushing and excellent thickness control. 

What's new? The product line; Davis-Standard introduced dsX flex-film in July.
