Battery separator film lines with Evapore These high-output production lines for advanced lithium-ion battery separator film target the fast-growing electric vehicle and appliance markets, as well as the computer, communications and consumer products industries. The line was on display during NPE. Advanced battery separator film is used in lithium-ion batteries.
What's new? The Evapore process involves evaporation of volatile chemicals without the need for heating.
Benefits Low shrink, high porosity, downgauging without property loss and good thickness tolerances. Film characteristics, which are evenly distributed across the web, also include low electrolyte resistance and high puncture strength.
