dsX s-tretch This in-line cast pre-stretch film line from Davis-Standard is designed to produce very thin films at higher line speeds with improved physical properties and load retention. Equipped to support a wide range of resins, including metallocenes, propylenes and elastomers, the line can produce film as thin as 6 microns at speeds from 550 to 1,000 meters per minute.

What's new? The line also has lowboy extruders, the firm's DSB II feed screws and bleedless guiding. A Cloeren feed block; die and vacuum box; machine direction orientation stretching; and 2-inch thin-core or coreless winding are other technology features.

Benefits Cost savings and reduced waste. Coreless winding reduces waste, while improved energy efficiency and higher outputs result in a faster return on investment.
