TwinEX 148-28 Battenfeld-Cincinnati (NPE Booth W1810) engineered this parallel twin-screw extruder, its latest, to meet the demand for large-diameter PVC pipe extrusion and high-output profile extrusion in North America. The extruder also is suited for foamed PVC sheet applications.
What's new? The output. The machine can achieve output rates of up to 4,400 pounds per hour and has the ability to process both virgin and regrind PVC. This model also has a Z design gearbox with the main motor in the back for easier maintenance.
