Compeo Lab With throughputs ranging from about 110 pounds per hour to 220 pounds per hour, Buss’ new compounding machine has a 45.5mm screw that can handle a variety of materials, including shear-sensitive plastics and engineering plastics. It is appropriate for research and development, process optimization and small production runs.

Benefits The ability to reliably scale up short runs. Combinations of two-, three- and four-flight elements are possible. The machine boasts precise temperature control and a compact ergonomic design. Options include dosing units, a side feeder, a melt pump or filter and pelletizers.
