Wintec taps Don Ivey as director of sales for North America

Wintec, a maker of injection molding machines (IMMs) and part of the Engel group, has named Don Ivey its director of sales for North America. Ivey has 23 years of experience in the plastics industry, including 20 years spent selling injection molding machines. He joined the Engel Group in 2016 and will be in charge of sales in the U.S. and Canada.

Wintec, based in Changzhou, China, makes IMMs for standard applications and previously has focused its marketing efforts on Asia.

This month, the company expands its distribution into markets in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
