KraussMaffei tops 5,000-employee mark

Munich-based KraussMaffei Group exhibited strong growth last year, with both sales and orders increasing 10 percent year-over-year and breaking the records that the company set in 2016. The growth was supported by an expanded workforce, which last year exceeded 5,000 people worldwide for the first time.

Early indicators show promise for this year as well. Opportunities in China continue to expand, and the success of the company's PX series of all-electric injection molding machines has led to plans to double production this year.
