Nussbach, Austria-based Haidlmair has named Andreas Kissler, formerly with PSG Plastic Service Group, as manager and sales leader for the company's new flat die unit (FDU) technology. FDU is an open hot-runner nozzle system that Haidlmair says combines the benefits of injection molding and extrusion by cutting the shear area in half and minimizing the injection pressure.
