Erema creates unit to sell components

    With the creation of its new Powerfil business unit, Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH, Ansfelden, Austria, now is offering two of its established extrusion melt filters for sale as individual components. Companies can upgrade their existing extrusion operations by purchasing one of two Erema melt filters — the SW RTF partial-surface backflush system or the Laserfilter.

     "In recent years, the growing recycling market and the noticeable parallel increase in more heavily contaminated input materials have led to a growth in demand for efficient filtration systems," said Robert Obermayr, head of the Powerfil business unit.
