Eriez adds space and staff for metal detection

Eriez Manufacturing Co. has added new personnel and expanded its metal detector manufacturing space to meet increasing demand. The Erie, Pa., company doubled the number of lab technicians and manufacturing personnel, increased the amount of space dedicated to metal detectors and added a second production shift. Sales of Eriez metal detectors have increased 140 percent in the last year, and total sales volume has doubled over the last five years, the company reported.
