Custom Automation & Machinery Inc. (CAM-Engineers), Concord, N.H., and LMG Presses, De Pere, Wis., are joining forces to offer custom automation for the hydraulic and servo press industries.
The companies said that the partnership will allow expansion of engineering services and new products for clients that use hydraulic and servo-electric powder presses.CAM-Engineers specializes in industrial automation, but it also offers many standard products that complement LMG's existing line. For example, CAM-Engineers recently introduced the SEP-10T, a servo-driven electric powder-compacting press that can be used for molding plastic components.
LMG's specialty is making hydraulic presses for molding many materials including rubber, sheet molding compound, bulk molding compound and carbon-filled epoxy.
