Program provides mold component authentication

Mold component distributor Progressive Components, Wauconda, Ill., has created a new program to help users authenticate the components in their molds. Companies that buy molds can use the program to be confident that their mold makers are purchasing the correct components from Progressive Components. The company sends monthly reports to the mold buyer that list the parts its mold suppliers have purchased. The program also alerts the buyer if critical parts have not been ordered.
