Matrix begins construction of manufacturing plant

Matrix Design LLC, a developer and builder of automation systems based in South Elgin, Ill., has begun construction on a 50,000-square-foot manufacturing plant. Expected to be finished by November, it will consolidate the company's two existing facilities and provide an additional 15,000 square feet of space, which Matrix says it needs to accommodate its recent growth.
