Engel Austria posts third consecutive year of growth

Based on its strong performance in the Chinese and southeastern Asian markets, Engel Austria GmbH, Schwertberg, has increased its annual revenues for the third year in a row. The company, a global supplier of automation systems and injection molding equipment, generated sales of more than $1.52 billion during the fiscal year that ended in March, an increase of about 8.6 percent. Some of that money — about $112 million — will go to expanding and modernizing its facilities and supporting its 5,900 employees, an all-time record for the company.
