Barnes Group announces GammaFlux LP acquisition

Aerospace technologies manufacturer Barnes Group Inc., Bristol, Conn., has entered into an agreement to purchase Gammaflux LP. With the acquisition, Barnes Group will be able to add Gammuflux control systems to the portfolio of hot-runner, mold and sensor technologies offered by its various companies, including Priamus, Foboha and Synventive.Gammaflux offers hot-runner temperature and sequential valve-gate control systems and temperature-control products used in blow molding, extrusion and thermoforming.The deal was expected to be finalized in the second quarter.
