CPM buys extruder, parts supplier Extricom GmbH

CPM Holdings Inc., Waterloo, Iowa, has acquired Lauffen, Germany-based Extricom GmbH, which has been renamed Extricom Extrusion GmbH. CPM supplies process equipment and technology for a variety of industries, including compounding, while Extricom makes replacement parts for twin-screw extruders and is the inventor of RingExtruder, a multiscrew extruder for compounding. The CPM Extrusion Group will offer three levels of twin-screw extruders, in addition to the RingExtruder.
