Plasma-treatment specialist Plasmatreat North America, Elgin Ill., has opened a new office and lab in Hayward, Calif. The facility can help customers run trials, develop new processes and provide plasma-treatment services, according to a company news release. Contract surface-treatment services are also available for low volumes.
Plasmatreat has also signed on as an industry partner to the ChemQuest Technology Institute, South Boston, Va. The new institute offers technology support for specialty chemical suppliers of coatings, adhesives, sealants, plastics and inks.
