Alliance Sensors Group, Moorestown, N.J., named Wilmington, Calif.-based Wilmington Instrument Co. a distributor for its linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) and linear variable inductive transducer (LVIT) lines of linear position sensors. Alliance Sensors' products are contactless devices that are used in industrial automation and other industrial applications.
"We feel [Wilmington Instrument Co.] can help us target the automation marketplace in ways we could not handle directly, and gives us a solid presence in the Western side of North America," said John Matlack, VP of sales and marketing for Alliance Sensors Group.
