Maguire Products Inc., Aston, Pa., and Syncro srl, Busto Arsizio, Italy, have formed a partnership to create new technologies for advanced extrusion control, the companies announced at the K show last month.
"The strategic partnership and investment from Maguire in Syncro underlines both companies' commitment to providing more choice for our customers to maximize extrusion efficiency," said Frank Kavanagh, Maguire's VP of sales and marketing.
Maguire makes blenders and materials-handling equipment for plastics industry applications, including extrusion. Syncro supplies a range of software and hardware to optimize extrusion line control, as well as feeders, blenders, air rings and gauging systems.
