Bunting Magnetics appointed Peiffer as CFO

Newton, Kan.-based Bunting Magnetics Co., which makes metal-detection equipment, has appointed Steven Peiffer as CFO, reporting to President and CEO Bob Bunting. Peiffer — who has more than a decade of experience in accounting, finance, analysis and acquisitions — will oversee financial reporting, budgets, accounting and human resources for all four of the company's divisions: Bunting Magnetics, Magnet Materials, Bunting Magnetics Europe, and Magnet Applications.
