Nordson Corp., Westlake, Ohio, has consolidated its polymer melt-delivery equipment — including filtration systems, ovens, gear pumps, valves and other products previously sold under the Kreyenborg and Xaloy brands — into its BKG product portfolio. The new names for the combined polymer melt-delivery equipment offerings are:
• BKG HiCon Filtering System for self-cleaning systems
• BKG NorCon for continuous and discontinuous screen changers
• BKG BlueFlow for gear pumps
• BKG HyFlex for valves.
All the melt-filtration systems, gear pumps and valves previously offered under the Kreyenborg brand will be housed in Münster, Germany, where Nordson plans to quadruple its operations to optimize production.
Although screen changers, ovens and gear pumps in the Xaloy line will be marketed under the BKG brand, screw and barrel products will keep the Xaloy name and continue to be headquartered in Neckarsulm, Germany.
