Graham launches medical extrusion conference

The first-ever Spotlight Medical Extrusions & Secondary Operations Conference will be Nov. 10 in Irvine, Calif. Created by Graham Engineering Corp., York, Pa., the event will focus on topics such as surface treatment, drilling, laser processing, overmolding and braiding for catheters and delivery systems.

Medical device industry leader James Oberhauser will serve as the conference's keynote speaker. From 2007-2015, Oberhauser led the product development of Abbott Vascular's Absorb Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffold, and currently serves as a consultant to biopharmaceutical maker Gilead Sciences Inc.

The event costs $150 per person and attendance is limited to 50.
