Milacron reports better sales, profits in Q2 2016

Milacron Holdings Corp., Cincinnati, posted $308.1 million in sales during the second quarter of 2016, representing a 3.4 percent improvement over the same period last year. The company's second-quarter adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased 3.2 percent to $57.8 million, which was slightly ahead of expectations.

For the six months ended June 30, Milacron posted sales of $585.4 million, up 0.8 percent from the first half of 2015, and an adjusted EBITDA of $104.9 million, representing a gain of 4.4 percent over the first six months of last year. "We remain on track to deliver our full-year commitment in line with our previously stated guidance," said Milacron CEO Tom Goeke.
