Husky's new automated line is up and running

Sept. 6, 2016

Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd., Bolton, Ontario, has made a major investment in new manufacturing equipment for the third straight year. To better support its hot-runner and controller customers, the company has installed a state-of-the-art, automated line in its Luxembourg facility, said Stefano Mirti, Husky's president of hot runners and controllers. The cost was not disclosed.

"Our new manufacturing line will enable shorter lead times and provide even more capability to produce highly repeatable manifolds," he said, adding that Husky's products are increasing in complexity as its global customer base grows.
