SPE appoints Vitale director of foundation

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), Bethel, Conn., has appointed Eve Vitale as director of the SPE Foundation. Vitale has six years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience in the automotive and plastics industries and 10 years of experience in curriculum development and teaching. In 2015, the SPE Foundation awarded $112,000 in scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students. It also provides grants to college engineering departments.
