Hot-runner supplier HRSflow, moldmaker Ermo and packaging developer Plastic Technologies Inc., Holland, Ohio, have teamed up to facilitate a fast track to market for companies wanting to sell food and beverage products in single-serving capsules. The collaboration will make it easier for companies to develop new capsules, validate resins and confirm barrier properties, according to Plastic Technologies, Holland, Ohio.
HRSflow and Ermo are units of INglass SpA, San Polo di Piave, Italy. HRSflow has sales and service operations in Windsor, Ontario, and Greenville, S.C., and a manufacturing site in Byron Center, Mich.
