David Preusse, president of Wittmann Battenfeld Inc., Torrington, Conn., has been honored by the University of Massachusetts Lowell for his distinguished record of leadership and outstanding professional service.
Preusse was given the Francis Academy of Distinguished Engineers Award, which recognizes alumni of the Francis College of Engineering at UMass Lowell. Preusse received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1985. He has been with Wittmann Battenfeld for 20 years and has served as its president since 2002. He also serves on the College of Engineering's Industrial Advisory Board.
