Coperion completes the relocation of headquarters

April 29, 2016

Compounding and extrusion equipment maker Coperion Corp. has completed the relocation of its headquarters from Ramsey, N.J., to its other sites in Pitman, N.J., Wytheville, Va., and Houston.

The relocation was part of the company's strategy to integrate the Coperion and Coperion K-Tron businesses, said President Kimberly Ryan. The project included personnel moves and remodeling of the facilities. In Wytheville, 52,000 square feet of space was added to make room for new manufacturing, assembly and warehousing. The site is used for manufacturing, including machine and gearbox refurbishing, assembly, factory acceptance tests and shipping. In Pitman, officials completed extensive reconstruction. That location now is home to Coperion's U.S. extrusion test lab, process technology, engineering, sales, customer service and support and the K-Tron feeding technology business. The Houston location houses sales, service and engineering support.
